Friends Sale Room Volunteers

The Friends of the Moline Public Library Sale Room is operated solely by volunteers. They assist patrons in selections, accept new donations, restock shelves, and sort received materials in our sorting room. A more detailed description of duties is included on the application form.

Currently our shifts are fully staffed with 2-5 volunteers per shift. The work shifts are two hours long, and details of hours are on our downloadable application form. You may also pick up an application form in our Sale Room. Temporary vacancies are filled by substitutes. We are accepting applications to become a substitute, and subs may move into a regular shift as they become open.

We have training available for our volunteers, and we are a part of RSVP network of volunteers. Thank you for considering this opportunity to help your library.
