Curbside Pickup hours are Monday through Friday, 10 am to 4 pm.
The Moline Public Library has added an opportunity for cardholders to access library materials through Curbside Pickup. This service will be available to Moline Public Library cardholders or any Illinois area library cardholders with reciprocal borrowing privileges.
Curbside Pickup is restricted to only items owned by Moline Public Library and to the following formats: books, audiobooks, DVDs, video games, music CDs, magazines, puppets, and puzzles.
HOW DO I REQUEST MATERIALS?
Please have your library card number ready to request materials.
If you have a Moline Public Library card:
Place holds on materials owned by Moline Public Library in the PrairieCat Catalog. If you are having trouble placing holds in the catalog, please call (309) 524-2470.
If you have a Moline card OR any library card from a PrairieCat member library:
Call (309) 524-2470 from 10am to 4pm, Monday through Friday to request materials.
HOW WILL I KNOW WHEN MY MATERIALS ARE READY?
You will receive automatic phone or e-mail notifications, as indicated by your preference on your account.
HOW DO I PICK UP MY MATERIALS?
Once you have been notified that your materials are ready, pull up to Spot 1 or Spot 2 Curbside Pickup area in front of the library. Call (309) 524-2481 to notify staff you are there and if you are in Spot 1 or 2. Your materials will then be brought to your vehicle.
Have your library card available to show to staff at Curbside. Staff may ask you to verify your library card number.
Either pop open your trunk or open a window furthest away from passengers so staff may safely deliver your materials. If you are unable to open either, you may exit your vehicle and pick up your materials off the book cart, once staff has indicated it is safe to do so.
HOW DO I RETURN MY MATERIALS?
All returns must be made at the Drive Up Book Return, located on the east side of the building. Curbside Pickup staff will not be able to touch or take your materials for return.
Please note that all returns will be quarantined for at least 72 hours. Once it is safe to do so, materials will be checked in and late fees will not be assessed during the quarantine period.

RULES AND RESTRICTIONS
Curbside Pickup will only be available during designated hours, Monday through Friday, 10 am to 4 pm. Your materials will not be available for pickup until you have received notification by library staff or automatic notification.
For requests by phone, up to 20 items may be requested per cardholder per day.
After notification, materials must be picked up within seven days.
You must bring your library card to present at Curbside Pickup. If you are also retrieving materials for other family members, you must present their card(s) as well.
Staff administering Curbside Pickup will be unable to accept fine payments, return of materials, or donations for Friends of the Moline Public Library Foundation.
